Responsible for many of your best nights out, @chocolate.sinclair (aka @matthichens) is a passionate lover of all things music. His involvement in the local scene spans far and wide, with over 15 years of experience as a booker, selector, promoter and punter. Starting his career spinning hip-hop as “Young Supreme”, Matt has worked on various projects including Button Bashers, The Other Records/Radio and SWIM.
Alongside Phijos and Aaron.P, he was involved in the conception of The Other DJ’s - a trio of variety specialists. They could be found spinning fresh sounds from festival stages and clubs to the seediest of bars. Always keeping an eager eye open for rising talents, Matt previously facilitated over 80 acts per month as the music programmer for Yours Truly between 2012 and 2020.
Matt is now the co-owner of @one_park_cpt - a bespoke eatery and listening bar which has quickly become a local favourite for food and music lovers alike. Pop in and you’ll find him sipping a cocktail whilst playing everything from anime soundtracks to the fuzziest funk and soul.
